The Ocean Foundation, a DC-based non-profit international community foundation is looking for a Chief of Program Staff to join our team! This position will report to the President and be responsible for the management of our program team. TOF’s Program Team includes international grant making, organization wide monitoring & evaluation and various program research and development staff.  The Chief of Program Staff will provide operational oversight in program implementation, proposal development, planning and budgeting, project management systems, and general program management. In addition, the Chief of Program Staff will also support the President by providing operational oversight for our Core Initiatives and Hosted Project teams. This position will directly support the President on the implementation of our annual organization planning, quarterly board meeting administration, special research and consulting projects, and other managerial responsibilities. This position will also facilitate internal coordination between all teams, in an effort to engage with all staff to foster greater diversity, equity, and inclusion within all aspects of our organization. Qualifications: < ul> < li>Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience showing progressively increasing responsibility in an international nonprofit organization, preferably with environmental or marine conservation focus.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Minimum 3 years of experience overseeing multiple large scale international projects, including aspects of proposal writing, donor management, program development, program  implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Experience developing and managing government and multilateral funded international programs, a plus.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Advanced degree in environmental policy, nonprofit management, ocean conservation, or other related field preferred.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and excellent time management.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, planning and budgeting experience.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Proven ability to think and communicate strategically and creatively with a diverse constituency.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, including funders, program implementers, staff, communities, etc.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Excellent leadership and team building skills and experience working with diverse groups.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Success in coaching and managing individual staff and teams, as well as consultants< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong project management experience.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google products required; experience with Salesforce and Asana a plus; comfortable in a Mac environment.< /li>< /ul> < ul> < li>Multilingual verbal and written skills in English and Spanish preferred.< /li>< /ul> Position Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year. ***Application Deadline: August 31, 2022***< a href="https://tof.bamboohr.com/jobs/view.php?id=37">Leadership Profile< /a>
