As core part of work, Green Leadership Trust connects environmental organizations looking to fill board member vacancies with people of color and Indigenous people to serve on their boards. We seek to partner with organizations that are genuinely inclusive, committed to justice, and advancing equity. We envision a world where communities of color and all Indigenous peoples are equal owners and users of our movement’s tools, networks, and license to live and to lead.

Once your form is submitted, someone from Green Leadership Trust will contact you to gather more information about the board opening you are seeking to fill and will try to connect you with individuals that have the skills and expertise that meet your needs. One way that GLT does this is by hosting quarterly Board Speed Networking, virtual events that pair current and prospective GLT members with organizations searching for board members.
If you are an environmentalist of color looking to serve on a board of directors, click here to join our Talent Roster and we will try pairing your interests and priorities with an organization whose mission encompasses these interests.
