< p style="font-weight: 400">< a href="http://www.defenders.org/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.defenders.org/&source=gmail&ust=1674314739679000&usg=AOvVaw02QnR2E-rQ6n0gK8CMGCu5">Defenders< /a> is hosting a 10-week, paid internship program that is offered virtually, in-person at our headquarters in Washington, DC, or hybrid (in-person and virtual), from June 5< sup>th< /sup>– August 11< sup>th< /sup>. The purpose of our internship program is to expose students representing diverse backgrounds and communities to the world of conservation. Students will have the opportunity to explore Defenders’ portfolio of conservation efforts, be mentored by conservation experts, and build relationships with their peers. Their 10-week internship will culminate with a symposium where they will present their internship departmental project to the entire Defenders community.
