As the first cross-sector network of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color fiduciaries that serve on the boards of U.S. nonprofit environmental organizations, GLT members include individuals with a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience navigating predominantly white spaces in environmental and conservation nonprofits. Our members are experts in navigating these spaces. Furthermore, GLT staff is well trained to provide strategic coaching and support to organizations on the issues of board engagement, leadership development and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI).  

GLT uses a number of communications mechanisms to reach its broad network of members and stakeholders. As a benefit of membership, GLT members may use these channels to seek consultant referrals.
